Mayflower is a trusted name in moves for military and government families. We’ve put together this helpful list of frequently asked questions to address common questions and concerns.
How long does it take to move?
This depends on many factors, such as the time of the month, weather conditions, size of your shipment, time required to load and unload, and the direction and distance your shipment is traveling.
With the help of Mayflower, pickup and delivery dates are scheduled according to the origins and destinations of individual shipments on the truck, as well as shipment size.
How do you determine what my move will cost?
If additional services are requested or become necessary after loading, additional charges can be incurred. Basic transportation charges depend, among other things, on the size of your shipment and the distance they will travel. The total cost will include these transportation costs, unless waived, any charges for Full-Value Protection, plus charges for any additional services performed by Mayflower as necessary or at your request.
How does your service differ from that of your competitors?
Having performed hundreds of thousands of moves for military and government families, we understand that the people and families we move want to have everything handled for them during their move, from start to finish. Our custom moving services give the people and families that we move control over the moving process while saving them time and hassle.
